While working on the wiki I found a somewhat irritating naming scheme that probably should be avoided in the future. As this needs some more work an also may break older code that gets compiled against the current release Ake suggested to make a poll out of it. In http://www.vscp.org/wiki/doku.php/vscp/spec/events/level1/vscp_event_class_030 we write CLASS1.CONTROL and Class=30 which is somehow strange to me (is it Class 1 or is it Class 30??) Seems to me there is a double meaning put onto “class”. In my understanding the class gives the functional type, here “CONTROL”, and what is meant by “CLASS1.” is simply the level of the event, here “level I”. So why not name it so?
LEVEL1.CONTROL =⇒ Level is 1, Class is Control (30) which would sound much clearer, wouldn't it?
