This is work in progress!!! Information here will change during development.

The purpose of this module is to protect from water leakage from a washing machine. The module can give an alarm but better still it can both shutoff the machine and the water to it and by that intelligently protect against leakage instead of just warning for it.

As the unit also is connected to the VSCP system of a house it can also prevent accidents from happening when no one is home or when the occupants is on vacation by shutting down the water and mains to the machine until the machine is needed again.

The device can work in two modes

Active Mode

Will protect against leakage. Will shutoff the machine if total power usage in home exceeds maximum. Water and mains to the machine will be shutoff if leakage is detected.

Vacation Mode

In vacation mode the main and water to the machine will be cut off to protect the home against accidents.
